Finally some answers on Gurren Lagann

Ok the mystery of the missing Gurren Lagann has been solved. Looks like ADV had to dump a bunch of titles due to financial concerns.

So Bandai picked it up and will be putting it out this summer.....subtitled. Apparently they are going to start the dub from scratch and a dubbed verion will be out in 2009.

Kinda sucks but I'm glad it's finally going to see a release. I don't know if I'll but the subtitled versions.

I hope that Dragonaut doesn't get this kind of treatment.

I have a hard time with Subtitled anime. Maybe I'm getting old, but its hard for me to focus on the action on the screen and read at that same time. I just find it distracting. But Like I said, It's probably becasue I'm getting old.

i too prefer subtitled anime... i grow tired of companies like ADV who stretch out series over as many disks as possible, charge an arm and a leg so they can employ their friends who do crappy voices in the first place... they wouldn't have to drop titles at all if they just move to a less expensive office space and managed their money better...

ADV puts out anime for all the wrong reasons in my opinion... i hope they go under.

Omg finally someone cleared the air!! I was so pissed when it wasn't released >.< So it's going to be reaching american shores dubbed this summer? 2009 seems like a long ways away. That better be awesome dubbing then :(
